After some strange results in round 1, local fencers in the Under 13 girls event were seeded to meet in the earlier DE rounds with Nimah Noble losing to Maoise McCormack in the last 16, however with the winner of that then facing number 1 seed Ellie Taylor. Ellie came out winner against Maisie and with Rachael Lever losing norrowly also in the quarter finals, only Ellie made the medals taking a solid 3rd place.
