Cambridgeshire Youth Team Foil event

Though non of our team actually train in Foil (different weapon to what we do at club). A team of Rachael Lever, Ellie Taylor and Maisie McCormack made their way down to Sawston Village College (near Cambridge) to give foil a go. Rachael had entered a few foil competition for fun, however for Maisie and Ellie this was their first go at the weapon. The girls stormed through their opponents and in the Semi-Final Maisie caught up from a deficit to get the team into the final and in the final Rachael returned Maisie’s favour with a storming last match to catch up a deficit and win the team title, against team mainly made up of boys. Great going to the 3 of them.
