Four students from Oundle and Kings Cliffe Middle School fought their way to become U11 British School Team Champions in Epee Fencing at the British School Team Championships held at Brunel University on 21st April, with storming 45-21 and 45-12 wins againt their opposing teams. The four girls Rachael Lever, Eleanor Taylor, Sophie Rouwenhorst and Maisie McCormack started fencing in September 2011 at school and also train at OPS Epee Club with their coach Chris Howser. At the same competition the school also had two U11 boys teams who were placed 6th & 10th. In the U13 boys, two teams from The Kings School, Peterborough were placed 3rd & 9th.
