East Midlands Beginner & Intermediate Championships

Double Gold to Jacqui Lever in her first ever compeition taking both Beginner & Intermediate Ladies titles. Andrea McCormack also performed well to secure Silver in the Beginners event and Bronze in the Intermediate Womens event. Matthew Lever (only 14) fenced excellently winning all his matches in the First round to be seeded 2nd after round 1 of the beginners, however lost out 15-13 in the Semi-Finals to secure Bronze which he then matched in the Interdediate event. Well done to all three club fencers who attended and to their coaches on the day Maisie and Rachael.
